Jom System Sdn Bhd  202301021267 (1515190-T) (collectively and individually referred to as “Jom System”, “we”, “us” or “our”) operate its websites such as https://www.jombms.com/ (collectively or individually referred to as the “Site”) and distributes a mobile platform called JomBMS (collectively or individually referred to as the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle Personal Data and comply with the requirements of Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (“PDPA”).

Information that we collect

We collect information from you when you register and use JomBMS. When registering on JomBMS, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: e-mail address, password, Full name, phone number.

While using JomBMS you may, without however having any obligation to, enter your client information as: name, phone number and email address.

The content generated by using JomBMS may be collected for a single purpose —  it allows you to access your data from various platforms and devices.

When using the import from contact list feature, the data of the selected contact (name and/or phone numbers and/or email address and/or contact’s photo) are used to create a client that will be uploaded to the application’s cloud server.

What is your information used for?

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:

• To process transactions: Your information, as well as the content generated by using JomBMS, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the service requested.

• To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other app
• To send periodic emails

The email address you provide for service registration, may be used to send you information and updates of JomBMS service information or news.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information and your content generated by using JomBMS.

Do we disclose any information to third parties?

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to third parties your information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our servers, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. The information however may be disclosed if such disclosure is directly prescribed by the law.

By using JomBMS, you consent to our privacy policy.

Changes to our Privacy Policy

Jom System may modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any and all changes to this Privacy Policy will be posted on the JomBMS site. In addition, the Privacy Policy will always indicate the date it was last revised. You are deemed to accept and agree to be bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy when you use JomBMS after those changes are posted.
